About Me

Who Am I?

Hello! I'm Naysa Bhargava, a passionate and experienced developer with a strong background in full stack development and creating innovative machine learning algorithms. I am currently a sophomore studying Computer Science and Business Administration at the University of Southern California (USC). I am continuously looking to apply my skills and learn new skills in order to make technology that has real world impact!

My interest in technology stems from my life-long love for puzzles. Therefore, when I'm not coding you'll likely find me trying to unravel the mystery bit by bit in a classic mystery novel (big fan of Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes!), playing Sudoku, working on the Wordle of the day (trying to stay consistent with my 58-day streak), or building my next LEGO set.

Creating an app for the non-profit Inner City Visions, whose purpose is to serve as a lifeline for sex trafficking victims and survivors. It includes emergency crisis reporting, management, and response. Some key features are: automated incident response, contacting friend/family and police, connecting vulnerable trafficking survivors to critical emergency resources, and keeping track of a victim’s incident history and maintain a longterm lifeline to support

Developer @ LavaLab
September 2024-Present

Led development of Lumen, collaborating with cross-functional team to transform scattered social media feedback into actionable insights - won Best Demo Award at entrepreneurship showcase. Engineered automated web-scraping system to aggregate comments from Instagram, X, and app stores, implementing intelligent filtering and translation - saves companies 2+ hours of daily work. Built responsive frontend interface from designer specifications and integrated with web-scraping backend, resulting in successful adoption by three companies including one with 3M+ active users

Undergraduate Reasearch Fellow @ USC Radiomics Lab
July 2024-Present

Integrate full-stack development with advanced interactive AI interfaces to enhance medical image analysis workflows. Combine robust backend infrastructure with intuitive front-end solutions, streamlining processing, visualization, and interpretation of medical images, facilitating more efficient workflow management and implementation.

Tech Consultant @ Trojan Marketing Group (TMG)
January 2024-Present

Brainstorm, implement, and suggest solutions to problems clients have from a technical lens. Recently, increased visibility of a new ambassador program for MAMA's Nightmarket by creating Ambassador Program page for MAMA's NightMarket website and helped with ideation of new MAMA's app.

Software Development Intern @ Portico Wellness
July 2024-September 2024

Implement an integrated AI calendar, allowing users to schedule appointments with ease. Utilize Supabase (backend), React with Remix, Typescript, and Tailwind CSS (frontend), and Google Calendar API, Outlook API, and Exchange API to integrate appointments to users personal calendars.

AI Researcher @ Institute of Creative Technologies (ICT)
September 2023-September 2024

Utilize Python to process thousands of lines of CSV file data and build a corresponding, streamlined JSON file; then preprocessed the JSON file data and built and trained a RNN (TensorFlow) with 78% accuracy. Uploaded RNN to an HTML Webpage. Calibrate RNN to create a generative AI animated tutor allowing students to ask more questions and learn more relevant topics based on their convesation with the virtual tutor.

Website Developer @ LifeSci Industry Nurses Association (LINA)
July 2024-August 2024

Create content for resource library and develop website, integrating the content onto the webpage. Increase user efficiency by rebranding website and making it more user friendly. Utilize the Mighty Networks platform to implement changes.

Software Intern @ Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)
January 2022-May 2023

Coded Python programs to analyze 1000+ lines of data relating to 7 different train stops in 20 different locations to provide users with a table of all necessary data based on user given specifications. Implemented Vue.js to develop a dashboard to provide occupancy data on running trains through data analysis and graphs. Also, learned Linux and converted 10 Python scripts from version 2 to version 3.
